Thomas Chavie is a U.S. veteran. He has an Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Physician License in Florida. He is also nationally certified by NCCAOM in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.
He holds certifications in different pain management techniques and alternative medicine therapies, including Acupuncture Injection Therapy, Cupping Therapy, and Electrotherapeutic Point Stimulation (ETPS) Pain Therapy.
Thomas also has extensive background and experience in Western Medicine. He has been a Physical Therapist for 18 years. He has worked in different settings, including intensive care unit (ICU), wound care, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, and home health care.
His specialty covers orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal disorders, and conditions with an emphasis on pain management.
Before his physical therapy degree, he worked as a nurse in the U.S. Army. During his military years, he worked in several areas, including med-surgical, orthopedic, and trauma.
Thomas has always been into fitness and nutrition. He participated in wrestling, powerlifting, and bodybuilding competitions. He has also worked as a fitness and strength trainer for the U.S. Army, private fitness centers in Europe, and a community college football team in Minnesota.
